SiriusXM host, former Automotive News Publisher, to lead media, marketing & communications
DENVER/ATLANTA — July 5, 2023 — The Presidio Group LLC (“Presidio”), an independent merchant banking firm focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and investments in the automotive retail and consumer mobility sectors, announces the appointment of Jason Stein as Managing Director, responsible for media, marketing and communications.
Since September 2022, Stein has served as Presidio’s media advisor, assisting with the creation of content and communications, hosting industry events and launching Full Throttle, Presidio’s first podcast. Since its debut, Full Throttle has proven to be a sought-after venue for leaders in the retail and automotive sector.
Stein becomes Managing Director at Presidio following a nearly 30-year career as a journalist and publishing executive, primarily in the automotive industry, including more than a decade as publisher of Automotive News in Detroit, Automotive News Europe in Munich and the launch of Automotive News Canada. At Crain Communications, he also oversaw the operation of Automotive News China, Fixed Ops Journal and Shift mobility magazine.
In addition to his role with Presidio, Stein is host of SiriusXM radio show Cars & Culture with Jason Stein, a weekly program focused on athletes, actors, musicians and business leaders who are influencing car culture.
