Amy Wilson joined Presidio as director of research and communications in June 2023. She is based out of the Atlanta office. Amy previously spent 30 years working as a reporter and editor, including 23 years at Automotive News covering the auto industry. Amy most recently directed Automotive News’ retail coverage, overseeing a team of editors and reporters covering dealers and related topics.

Amy has won many regional and national journalism awards, including the Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award for Best Story for her coverage of Ford dealership consolidation. She began her career working at daily newspapers in Michigan after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.
